Description
Our Neri teapot is made of stoneware, with a body ribbed in fine vertical lines from base to shoulder and a lid ribbed to match. It holds 850ml and measures 13cm across and 24cm tall, with an arched handle carried over the top on two lugs at the shoulders and a short, straight spout to one side. The ribbing catches light and shadow, so the black surface never reads as flat, and at 0.65KG it has a reassuring weight in the hand.
With 850ml to pour, this is a teapot for sharing rather than for a single quick cup. It suits a weekend breakfast, an afternoon pot with friends or a slow brew at the end of the day, and the handle over the top lets you lift and pour with one hand while the other steadies a cup. In the kitchen it is as much at home on the table as on an open shelf between uses, where the ribbed black body earns its place. It sits comfortably beside plain or textured tableware, and anyone who likes a simple, tactile piece will appreciate how it feels to hold.
Stoneware holds heat well, which makes it a good material for a teapot. The ribbed body and lid are finished in a shimmering glaze, so the black carries a gentle sheen across the ribs. There is no built-in strainer, so brew with tea bags, or use a separate strainer or infuser for loose leaf tea. It is not for the microwave or the oven. Set it on a small board or tray with your cups beside it, so the whole pot comes to the table in one trip. The styling props shown are not included.

Frequently Asked
Does this teapot have a strainer?
No. It has no strainer, so brew with tea bags, or use a separate strainer or infuser if you prefer loose leaf tea.
How much does it hold?
It holds 850ml, which makes it a teapot for sharing at the table rather than one sized for a single cup.
Can it go in the microwave or the oven?
No. The maker rates it as unsuitable for both the microwave and the oven, so heat your water in the kettle and pour it in.
What is it made of?
It is made of 100% stoneware, with a ribbed body and a matching ribbed lid, both finished in a shimmering glaze.
How big is it?
