Description

The Neptune is an 8 light chandelier with a 65cm diameter polished chrome frame, eight curved arms terminating in optical prism glass cups, and crystal sphere accents suspended below each lamp position. Eight G9 bulbs are included, each rated up to 40W, housed inside conical glass shades that refract and multiply the light output across multiple facets.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living spaces with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Neptune uses a telescopic drop that adjusts between 410mm minimum and 620mm maximum during installation. This allows the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table surface or hung higher in a double-height foyer depending on the room proportions. The polished chrome canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and the cable is concealed within the central drop rod.

The optical glass cups are cut with vertical facets that catch and redirect light in multiple directions, creating a dispersed pattern across ceilings and walls rather than a single focused beam. The crystal spheres below each arm add weight to the fitting and introduce additional refraction points. The polished chrome finish provides a high-gloss surface that reflects ambient room light even when the chandelier is switched off, making the fitting a visible centrepiece in daylight as well as evening use.

The chandelier is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, allowing output to be reduced for evening dining or raised for tasks requiring brighter general light. At 3.5kg the fitting requires secure fixing to a joist or ceiling fixing rated for the full weight plus a safety margin.

What ceiling height is needed?

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the chandelier and allow it to cool. Wipe the optical glass cups and crystal spheres with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid spraying liquids directly onto the fitting and do not use household chemical cleaners on the chrome or glass.
