Description

The Neptune is a 52cm three-arm chandelier with a polished chrome frame, optical prism glass cups and faceted crystal spheres suspended beneath each arm. Each of the three arms curves outward from a central chrome hub, terminating in a cone-shaped optical glass cup that houses a G9 bulb. A single faceted crystal droplet hangs beneath each arm, adding weight and light refraction.

Designed for dining areas, bedrooms and hallway landings where ceiling height is 2.4-2.7m, the Neptune provides ambient light spread across a 520mm diameter footprint. The adjustable telescopic rod allows the fitting to be set between 410mm and 620mm drop on installation, accommodating different ceiling heights and positioning the light at an appropriate level above a dining table or within a hallway without dominating the room. The polished chrome finish reflects both natural daylight and artificial light, amplifying brightness in smaller spaces.

The optical glass cups are moulded with internal prismatic facets that diffuse the G9 bulb light into multiple directional beams rather than a single point source, reducing glare while maintaining clarity. The crystal spheres beneath each arm catch and refract this light, creating secondary sparkle points that shift as you move around the room. The three-arm configuration keeps the fitting compact enough for rooms where a five or six-arm chandelier would overpower the space, while still providing the multi-directional light coverage that distinguishes a chandelier from a single pendant. The fitting weighs 2kg and includes three G9 bulbs (dimmable) in the box.

Are the bulbs included?

Yes. The Neptune includes three G9 bulbs in the box. These are dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch.

What ceiling height does it need?

The adjustable drop of 410-620mm works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. For a dining table the fitting typically sits 700-800mm above the surface, which requires a ceiling height of around 2.5-2.7m depending on the chosen drop setting.

Can I adjust the height after installation?

The drop is set during installation by adjusting the telescopic rod. Once the ceiling rose is fitted and the wiring connected, changing the drop requires removing the canopy and re-threading the rod, so it's best set correctly at the time of fitting.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power and allow the bulbs to cool. Wipe the crystal droplets and optical glass cups with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the chrome metalwork or allowing water into the lamp sockets.
