Description
A round stool 75cm high, with a padded leather seat carried on a single iron column. The seat is a deep disc, domed across the top and piped round the edge, in an aged tan leather that runs darker at the seams. The column is dark iron, turned where it meets the seat, and a footring of flat spokes is set in a circle about two thirds of the way down it. The base is a heavy round casting, dished at the rim so it sits flat on the floor.
At 75cm this is bar height, made to stand at a kitchen island or a high counter rather than at a dining table. There is no back and no arms, so it pushes in under a counter when it is not in use and takes up no more floor than its base. The footring gives the feet somewhere to rest once the seat is that far off the ground.
The seat is goat leather, a by-product of herds kept by local herdsmen, dyed with vegetable extract and tree bark rather than with a synthetic dye, so the colour enriches with time. The column and base are iron in a dark finish. The Narwana round stool is also made in rich green and in chocolate brown.

Frequently Asked
How high is the stool?
75cm.
Does it have a back or arms?
No. It is a backless stool with a footring.
What is the seat made from?
Goat leather over a padded seat, on an iron column and base.
Will the colour change?
Yes. The leather is dyed with vegetable extract and tree bark, so it enriches with time.
Does it come in other colours?
Yes. The same stool is made in rich green and in chocolate brown.
How should the leather be looked after?
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid chemicals and household cleaners, which will damage the finish. To stop the leather drying out and cracking, feed it with a specialist leather product, or with petroleum jelly or flax oil.
