Description

The Nardini is a 50cm 3-light chandelier built around brown faux leather arms that curve outward from a central column, finished in polished chrome at the canopy and chain. Each of the three E14 candle fittings sits on a faceted crystal cube positioned where the arm meets the chrome lampholder, catching and refracting light when the bulbs are lit. The chandelier takes three E14 candle bulbs up to 60W each, sold separately.

Designed for dining rooms, hallways and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Nardini works above round or square dining tables up to 1.2m across, or as a centrepiece in a hall or landing. The 520mm minimum drop positions the fitting 600-700mm above a table surface in a standard 2.4m room; the adjustable chain extends the drop to 1520mm for taller rooms or where more clearance is needed. The chrome canopy fits a standard UK ceiling rose.

The faux leather covering on each arm is hand-applied over a metal frame, giving the chandelier a tactile finish that contrasts with the mirror-polished chrome and the hard facets of the crystal cubes. The brown tone ranges from dark chocolate to espresso depending on light conditions, and the leather texture softens reflections compared to an all-metal finish. At 3kg total weight the chandelier has enough presence to anchor a room without requiring additional ceiling reinforcement beyond a standard rose fixing.

What bulbs does the Nardini take?

The chandelier takes three E14 candle bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for dining room use.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable E14 bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible dimmer switch. The chandelier itself does not include dimming circuitry — dimming is controlled at the wall switch and bulb level.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 520mm minimum drop works in rooms with 2.4m ceilings when the chandelier is positioned 600-700mm above a dining table. For taller rooms or where more clearance is needed, the adjustable chain extends the drop to 1520mm.

How is the faux leather maintained?

Wipe the leather-covered arms with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the material. The chrome parts can be polished with a standard metal cleaner; avoid getting cleaner on the leather.
