Description
The Naira is a set of two round nesting tables from Schuller, each built with a wood-effect MDF top and a matte black metal base. The tops are finished in a melamine coating over the MDF core, providing resistance to surface scratches and heat marks from everyday use. The larger table measures 120cm wide and 91cm deep, with both tables standing at 41cm height when nested together.
Designed to nest for compact storage or separate for flexible placement across a living room, the Naira set works as a single coffee table footprint or split between sofa and armchair positions. The geometric metal base frames intersect at angles that provide stability without cross-bracing, allowing the tables to slide fully together when nested. The wood-effect finish shows visible grain detail and sits in a mid-brown tone that pairs with both warm timber floors and cooler grey upholstery.
The melamine surface coating resists liquid absorption and wipes clean with a damp cloth, making the tables suitable for daily use with mugs, glasses and magazines. The matte black powder-coated metal base softens reflections and hides minor scuffs better than gloss finishes. At 11.6kg combined weight, the set is light enough to reposition but substantial enough not to shift under normal use. The round tops remove sharp corners, making the tables suitable for homes with young children or for placement in high-traffic areas between seating.

Assembly Instruction
Frequently Asked
Do the tables arrive assembled?
No. The Naira set requires assembly on delivery. Each table ships flat-packed with the metal base detached from the MDF top. The assembly instructions are available in the Downloads section above and the process typically takes 15-20 minutes per table with a single screwdriver.
Can the tables be used separately?
Yes. The two tables are independent pieces that nest together for compact storage but can be separated and positioned anywhere in the room. Many users place one next to a sofa and the other beside an armchair, or use them at different heights by placing books or magazines under one table to create a stepped display.
Is the wood-effect surface heat-resistant?
The melamine coating provides some heat resistance against warm mugs and plates, but it is not designed to withstand high direct heat. Use coasters or trivets for hot cookware or serving dishes straight from the oven.
How are the tables cleaned?
Wipe the MDF tops with a damp cloth and mild detergent for everyday marks. Avoid soaking the surface or using abrasive cleaners. The matte black metal base can be wiped with a dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust and fingerprints.
