Description
Nadya is a round stoneware vase with a narrow neck and a single loop handle, 20cm across and 27cm tall. Its beige body carries a pattern decorated by hand: a band of chevrons at the shoulder, a row of fan shapes under that band, then rows of overlapping scallops, each holding a small leaf motif, and a border of diamonds near the base. The clay has a fine speckle, which keeps the beige from looking flat. Stoneware is fired at high temperatures, which makes it dense and hard-wearing.
At 27cm tall it is a mid-height vase. It is large enough to hold its own on a sideboard, a console or the middle of a dining table, and compact enough for a side table beside a chair or a deep bookshelf. The narrow neck gathers a handful of dried grasses, pampas or a few long dried leaves and keeps them standing tall, so a small bunch looks generous rather than sparse. It suits anyone drawn to pattern and handmade pieces, and it sits well beside plain stoneware, pale wood and woven rattan, where its busy surface becomes the point of interest in an arrangement.
Because each piece is decorated by hand, every vase is unique: the lines, scallops and leaf motifs on yours will vary a little in weight and placement, which is the mark of the hand at work. The loop handle runs from the top of the neck to the shoulder, and the rim is left plain. It weighs 1.84KG, a solid weight worth bearing in mind before lifting it onto a high shelf. For styling, let the pattern lead: pair it with plain pieces in natural tones and keep the stems simple, a single type of dried grass in a loose bunch rather than a mixed arrangement. The styling props shown are not included.

Frequently Asked
What is the Nadya vase made of?
It is made of 100% stoneware, a dense clay fired at high temperatures, and the pattern on its beige body is decorated by hand.
How big is the Nadya vase?
It is 20cm across and 27cm tall and weighs 1.84KG. That is a mid-height vase that suits a sideboard, a dining table or a side table.
Is every Nadya vase the same?
No. Each piece is decorated by hand, so every vase is unique, with small differences in the lines and in the placement of the scallop and leaf motifs.
What should I put in it?
Its narrow neck suits dried stems. Pampas, dried grasses or a few long dried leaves gathered in a loose bunch stand upright and look generous.
Does it have a handle?
Yes. A single loop handle runs from the top of the neck to the shoulder, which gives the round vase a characterful outline on a shelf or table.
Does it come with the dried grasses?
No. The vase is sold on its own, and the styling props shown, including the dried grasses and stems, are not included.
