Description
The Knightsbridge multimedia combination plate combines four 13A double-pole switched sockets with eight Euro module apertures (25 x 50mm) behind a single anthracite screwless faceplate. The four socket positions each provide two 13A outlets with DP switching, giving a total of eight mains outlets on the plate. The module apertures accept standard Euro-format inserts for satellite TV, DAB, telecoms, networking, HDMI, USB charging, and other low-voltage signal connections.
Designed for AV zones, home offices, home cinema installations and utility rooms where power and signal distribution need to be concentrated in one location, the plate reduces the number of individual faceplates required on the wall. The 297.5 x 179.5mm footprint suits dual-gang mounting positions and requires a minimum 35mm back box depth to accommodate the socket terminals and any module inserts fitted behind. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate steel sub-frame, leaving no visible fixings on the wall once installed.
The anthracite finish is a dark grey powder-coated steel that sits between matt black and mid-grey, pairing well with both contemporary neutral interiors and darker feature walls. The black insert behind the anthracite faceplate hides the back of the cover plate and provides a defined edge to each socket and module aperture. The plate is supplied without module inserts — these are selected separately to match the specific signal types required for the installation.

Frequently Asked
What module inserts are compatible?
The plate accepts any standard Euro module inserts measuring 25 x 50mm. Knightsbridge produces a range including HDMI, CAT6 data, satellite F-type, TV/FM coax, USB charging, phone/RJ11, and blank plates. Module inserts are sold separately and selected to match the specific signal types required for the installation.
What back box depth is required?
A minimum 35mm back box depth is needed to accommodate the socket terminals and any module inserts fitted behind the faceplate. Deeper back boxes (47mm or 50mm) provide more cable management space when multiple signal cables enter the box.
How many mains outlets does the plate provide?
The plate has four 13A double-pole switched socket positions, each with two outlets, giving a total of eight 13A mains outlets on the plate. Each socket pair is controlled by its own DP rocker switch.
Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?
Yes. The anthracite cover plate clips onto a separate steel sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the plate and re-clipped without disturbing the wiring or module inserts.
