Description
This mounting kit is a black steel bracket made for fixing a light fitting in place. It pairs a round plate, 11.2cm across, with a flat side plate set at a right angle, and the bracket stands 5cm high. The round plate is drilled with a pattern of small threaded holes and two larger openings, so there is a choice of fixing points for the fitting it carries.
We keep it for customers putting up a light who want a solid steel bracket to hold it. The side plate carries its own fixing hole, so the bracket holds the round plate square to whichever surface the side plate meets. The black finish matters too: beside a dark fitting, the hardware reads as part of the light rather than as an extra piece of metal.
Steel is a strong, rigid metal, and that rigidity is what a bracket needs when its job is to hold a fitting steady. The black finish runs over the side plate, the round plate and the short posts that space the two apart. Packed, the kit weighs 0.263KG. The installation instructions are available as a download, and we would read them through before the first hole is drilled.
