The Morchino is a 44cm square side table cut from natural Morchino marble quarried in Rajasthan, India, set on a single-column aluminium pedestal base finished in antique brass. The marble top carries grey and white tonal variation with subtle veining that differs from piece to piece depending on the section of stone from which it was cut.

Designed for use next to sofas, armchairs and beside beds, the 44cm square top provides enough surface for a table lamp, a drink and a book without dominating the floor footprint in smaller living rooms or bedrooms. The 52.5cm height sits roughly level with standard UK sofa arm height (48-56cm), making it comfortable to reach from a seated position. The aluminium pedestal base has a square plinth footprint that mirrors the top and gives stability on both carpet and hard floors.

Morchino marble forms from the recrystallisation of limestone under pressure and high temperature over thousands of years, introducing mineral deposits that create the characteristic veining and colour variation. The antique brass finish on the aluminium base has a slightly oxidised, warmer tone than polished brass, which pairs naturally with the cool grey tones in the marble.
