The Moore is a 3-light wall fitting with three square-section brass arms extending from a rectangular backplate, each arm supporting a cylindrical off-white linen shade with a banded top and bottom edge. The heritage brass finish provides a warm golden tone with a low-sheen surface, and each shade houses an E14 bulb fitting rated to 40W per socket, giving a combined 120W output across the three lights (bulbs sold separately).

Designed for hallways, living rooms and formal entry spaces where wall-mounted accent lighting is needed without consuming floor space, the Moore provides directed upward light through the three shades while the brass framework adds architectural interest to the wall. The 380mm width and 483mm height suit walls in rooms with 2.7m or higher ceilings, positioned at approximately 1.6-1.8m above floor level to avoid head-height obstruction. The 190mm projection from the wall means the fitting needs at least 250mm of clearance in front of it to avoid contact.

The linen shades soften the direct light output and reduce glare, making the Moore better suited to ambient or accent lighting than task lighting. The three-arm symmetrical configuration provides visual balance when centred above a console table, sofa or mantelpiece, or when paired in multiples along a corridor or gallery wall. What bulb does it take?

The Moore takes three E14 small Edison screw (SES) bulbs, each rated to a maximum 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for ambient hallway or living room lighting.

How far does it project from the wall?

The fitting projects 190mm from the wall surface once installed. Allow at least 250mm of clearance in front of the wall light to avoid contact with the shades when moving past.

What height should it be mounted at?

In hallways and living rooms, wall lights are typically positioned 1.6-1.8m above floor level, with the centre of the backplate at approximately eye height or slightly above. This avoids head-level obstruction while keeping the light output directed at face and upper-wall height.

Can the shades be removed for cleaning?

Yes. The linen shades lift off the bulb fittings for cleaning or bulb replacement. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth or vacuum lightly with a brush attachment to remove dust. Do not wash the linen shades.
