The Monterey is a 220cm rectangular dining table built from solid mango wood with two curved pedestal legs supporting a rounded-edge top. The wood carries a dark brown stain that deepens the natural grain pattern while allowing the mango wood texture to remain visible. Each table shows different grain striations and tonal variation depending on the section of timber used, so no two pieces look identical.

Designed for dining rooms and open-plan kitchen-dining areas with enough floor space to accommodate its 220 x 100cm footprint, the table seats eight adults comfortably with approximately 55cm of elbow room per person along the long sides. The 76cm height suits standard dining chairs with 45-48cm seat heights. The two-leg pedestal configuration leaves more knee clearance at the ends than a four-leg design, making it easier to fit chairs at the table heads.

The mango wood top is finished with a smooth polish that highlights the natural grain without adding a high gloss. The curved pedestal legs echo the rounded edges of the tabletop, giving the 78.65kg table a sculptural presence that works in both contemporary and mid-century interiors.
