This Knightsbridge metalclad 2-gang grid faceplate provides a powder-coated silver/grey steel cover for grid switch and socket installations in the metalclad range. The faceplate measures 87.5mm square with a 3.5mm projection from the wall, designed to fit over a GDF001F grid frame (sold separately) which holds the modular switch and socket components.

Designed for use in garages, workshops, utility rooms and commercial environments where steel construction provides durability against impacts and moisture exposure, the metalclad grid system allows individual switch and socket modules to be configured within a single frame and covered by this faceplate. The powder-coated finish resists scratches and maintains its appearance in high-traffic areas better than painted alternatives.

The 2-gang configuration accommodates two standard modular grid components side-by-side within the frame. The IP20 rating means the faceplate is suitable for dry internal locations but not for outdoor use or wet environments. The steel construction and powder-coat finish carry a 25-year warranty against material defects.
