The Mercury European converter plug adapts any 2-pin Euro CEE7 plug to a standard UK 3-pin socket, with a built-in 5A fuse for overload protection. The white plastic housing uses a hinged design that opens to accept the European plug pins, then closes to form a complete UK plug profile that fits flush into UK wall sockets and extension leads.

Designed for travellers bringing European devices into the UK and for households using imported electronics, the converter handles low-power devices up to 5A (1,150W at 230V). Typical uses include phone and laptop chargers, electric toothbrushes, shavers, hairdryers rated under 1,000W, and small kitchen appliances such as coffee grinders or hand blenders purchased in Europe.
