Description

The Mercury is a 6-gang 13A extension lead with a 5m cable, neon power indicator and white moulded housing. Each of the six outlets accepts standard UK 13A three-pin plugs, with the total load across all six outlets rated at 13A maximum (3,120W at 250V). A red neon indicator on the housing shows when the extension is live.

Designed for home, office and workshop use where multiple devices need powering from a single wall socket, the 5m cable length allows the extension to reach across rooms, behind desks or along worktops without requiring an additional intermediate extension. The housing includes keyholes on the rear for wall mounting, allowing the extension to be fixed to a workshop wall, behind a desk or in a garage to keep cables off the floor and outlets at a convenient height.

The white moulded housing measures 372 x 59 x 26mm and contains non-rewireable 3 x 1.25mm² cable. The extension conforms to BS1363/A, the British Standard for 13A plugs, socket-outlets, cable couplers and adapters. The neon indicator provides a visual check that the extension is receiving mains power, useful when the extension is wall-mounted or positioned where the plug connection is not immediately visible.
