Our Marcey garden table is a compact side table with a soft, pebble-like top resting on a single round column. The top is an irregular rounded shape, wider at one end and narrowing towards the other. It sits off centre on the base, so one end reaches out well past the column. It is made of 98% fibre cement and 2% steel, painted grey. Fibre cement is cement reinforced with fibres, and here it gives a solid, mineral look. The table is 50cm long, 35cm wide and 52cm tall.

At 52cm tall it is a side table height, so it sits comfortably at the elbow of a garden chair, a sun lounger or a hammock strung between trees. It takes a maximum load of 20KG, which leaves room for a planted pot, a lantern, a stack of books or a folded throw. Put it on the patio beside a pair of chairs, on a balcony where floor space is tight, or out on the lawn where your book and a plant can wait for you. Because one end reaches past the column, you can stand the base beside a chair and let the wider end of the top come in towards you, where it is easy to reach.
