Description

This is a shallow stoneware bowl made in the shape of an open flower, with rows of pointed petals radiating out from a small textured centre. Fine lines run the length of every petal, so the surface catches the light from whichever side you look, and the underside is shaped too, each petal rounding out beneath the rim. It measures 17.5cm across and 3cm tall and weighs 0.248KG, so it is light in the hand and small enough to sit beside a dinner plate rather than replace it. The flower is the form of the bowl itself, finished in brown.
