Description

The Malvina is a 64cm 5-light glass chandelier built on a polished chrome frame with curved arms radiating from a central hub. Each of the five lights sits within a triple-layer glass assembly: a frosted inner shade diffuses the G9 bulb, a clear outer shell magnifies and frames the glow, and a curved glass dish above each light creates a secondary reflective surface. The result is a layered depth of light and shadow as the frosted core glows through the transparent outer shells.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and hallway ceilings between 2.4m and 3m in height, the Malvina can be installed as either a pendant chandelier or converted to semi-flush mounting for rooms where ceiling clearance is limited. The 380mm drop when hung as a chandelier becomes approximately 200mm when converted to semi-flush, making it suitable for ceilings as low as 2.3m. The 640mm diameter requires a ceiling rose or mounting point at least 100mm from any wall to allow the arms to extend fully.

Each light takes a G9 capsule bulb up to 40W (five bulbs included). The polished chrome finish on the frame and fittings reflects ambient daylight and lamplight, amplifying the brightness of the five sources. The frosted inner shades prevent direct glare from the bulbs while the clear outer shells keep the visual mass light and transparent. At 4.1kg the fitting requires secure ceiling fixings — consult a qualified electrician if your ceiling rose or joists are uncertain.
