Description

Magni is a table lamp in white. A white magnifying head on a long white gooseneck arm, the head a wide round lens set in a moulded ring with a lit border and a hinged knuckle where it meets the arm. The arm sweeps up in one continuous curve from a low base with a shallow dished top, so the base doubles as a tray for small parts. A separate spring clip is supplied, letting the same arm mount to a desk edge or a shelf instead. Everything is the same flat white, with the lens the only bright surface. The lamp is meant to be pulled about and left where it is put. It measures 14.5cm across and 38cm tall, in aluminium and metal.

It is a lamp for a side table, a desk or a bedside, close enough to reach the switch from where you sit, and it lights the surface it stands on rather than the whole room. A pair either side of a bed or a sofa reads as deliberate where one alone reads as an afterthought, and two smaller lamps light a room more evenly than one large one.

The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to buy and none to fit. It is rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms. It carries an F energy label.
