Description

Magni is a table lamp in black. A round magnifying head ringed in black, carried on a tall black flexible arm that rises from a flat round black disc base standing on the floor. The lens sits in a plain ring with a small control on its top, and the arm bends anywhere along its length and holds the shape it is given. There is no flex on show, so the lamp is meant to be carried and set down where it is wanted. Everything but the lens is a fine matt black. The arm is long enough to reach over a chair. It measures 16cm across and 130cm tall, in glass and metal.

It is a lamp for a side table, a desk or a bedside, close enough to reach the switch from where you sit, and it lights the surface it stands on rather than the whole room. A pair either side of a bed or a sofa reads as deliberate where one alone reads as an afterthought, and two smaller lamps light a room more evenly than one large one.

It is rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms. It carries a G energy label.
