Description

The Maddison is an 800mm linear crystal suspension light with six G9 bulb fittings positioned along a French gold rectangular frame. Hundreds of individual crystal droplets hang in vertical cascades from the gold structure, refracting light into prismatic patterns across the ceiling and surrounding walls when the bulbs are lit.

Designed for dining tables and kitchen islands, the 800 x 300mm rectangular frame provides directed light down the length of a table whilst the cascading crystals add decorative presence above the surface. The suspension cables are adjustable between 360mm minimum and 1900mm maximum drop, allowing the fitting to be positioned 700-900mm above a worktop or dining surface depending on ceiling height. The French gold finish on the metal frame carries a soft champagne tone that pairs with both warm and cool interior palettes.

The crystal droplets are individually strung and vary in length, creating a layered curtain effect when viewed from the side. The six G9 fittings are positioned evenly along the 800mm length, distributing light across the full span rather than concentrating it at a single point. Each fitting accepts a G9 halogen or LED bulb up to 33W (bulbs sold separately), and the fitting is dimmable when paired with compatible G9 dimmable bulbs and an appropriate dimmer switch. The 8.4kg weight requires secure ceiling fixing to a joist or concrete anchor.

How is the drop adjusted?

The suspension cables are adjustable on installation between 360mm and 1900mm total drop from ceiling to the top of the frame. The cables are cut or looped to the desired length during fitting and are not adjustable once installed without rewiring.
