Description
The LYYT 24V COB LED strip delivers continuous warm white light at 3000K across a 5m reel, using 528 chip-on-board LEDs per metre spaced at 2mm intervals. The COB construction places the LED chips directly onto a flexible substrate without individual housings, producing a seamless light output with no visible hotspots or gaps when viewed directly or reflected in surfaces.
Designed for indirect lighting applications in residential, retail and office spaces, the strip suits under-cabinet installations, cove lighting, shelf backlighting, and display cases where consistent wash light is needed without visible individual LED points. The 24V DC low-voltage system requires a compatible LED driver (sold separately) and the strip can be cut at 45.45mm intervals to fit precise lengths. The self-adhesive backing allows the strip to be applied to clean, dry surfaces without additional mounting hardware.
The strip carries an IP20 rating, limiting use to indoor dry locations only — it is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any outdoor application. The high colour rendering index of Ra>90 reproduces colours more accurately than standard LED tape, making it suitable for environments where colour accuracy matters, such as wardrobes, art displays, and retail product shelving. At 12W per metre the total 5m reel draws 60W, requiring a 24V driver rated for at least that output.

Frequently Asked
What driver does this LED strip require?
The strip operates on 24V DC and draws 12W per metre. For the full 5m reel you need a 24V LED driver rated for at least 60W output. Drivers are sold separately — search for '24V LED driver' on the Niori site to find compatible options.
Can this be used in a bathroom or kitchen?
No. The IP20 rating means the strip is not protected against moisture and must only be used in dry indoor locations. For bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any damp environment, you need an IP65 or IP67 rated LED strip.
Where can the strip be cut?
The strip can be cut at marked intervals every 45.45mm along its length. Cutting outside these points will damage the circuit. Each cut point is typically marked with a scissors symbol on the strip itself.
Is the strip dimmable?
Yes, when paired with a dimmable 24V LED driver and a compatible dimmer control. The strip itself does not contain dimming circuitry — dimming happens at the driver level.
