Description

The Knightsbridge Lumi is a 600x600mm backlit LED panel light delivering up to 4,100lm from a 30W integrated LED, with a selectable colour temperature switch allowing 3000K, 4000K or 5700K output from a single fitting. The backlit design places LEDs around the edge of a light guide plate, creating even illumination across the prismatic diffuser without visible hotspots or dark zones.

Designed as a drop-in replacement for fluorescent modular ceiling fittings in offices, schools, hospitals and commercial spaces, the panel fits standard 600x600mm suspended ceiling grids with 15mm or 25mm T-bar profiles. The 25mm profile and 9mm projection sit flush within the grid framework once installed. The UGR19 rating and Tp(a) compliance make the panel suitable for workspaces where glare control and visual comfort are required under building regulations.

The aluminium frame and prismatic diffuser construction deliver up to 130lm/W efficacy at 4000K, providing higher light output per watt than equivalent T8 or T5 fluorescent tubes. The selectable CCT switch on the driver allows the installer to choose warm white (3000K) for hospitality, neutral white (4000K) for offices, or cool white (5700K) for industrial environments without stocking multiple SKUs. Optional accessories include a 3-hour emergency kit, surface-mount conversion kit, suspension cables, and recessed mounting clips for installations without a suspended grid.

The panel carries Class II double-insulated construction and IP40 ingress protection, making it suitable for dry interior environments. The LED has an L70B50 lifespan of 50,000 hours, equivalent to approximately 17 years of continuous operation or 34 years at 8 hours per day before reaching 70% of initial lumen output.
