Description

Longuro is a stoneware giraffe pared back to its essentials: a long, upright neck, a narrow head with two short horns, and an arched opening where the legs meet, so the whole body reads as one sweep of clay. A textured pattern of interlocking circles runs over the neck and body, and the glossy brown glaze settles darker in the pattern and at the hooves and muzzle, which picks out every detail. It is 20.5cm tall, 15.5cm long and 7cm wide, and weighs 0.32KG, a compact ornament with enough height to hold its own beside books and vases.
