Description

This is a wide-brimmed hat woven entirely from seagrass, a natural plant fibre with a slightly irregular texture. It is 41.5cm across and 12cm tall, so most of that width belongs to the brim: a generous circle around a neat, rounded crown. The weave runs in a close chevron pattern, broken by a single row of open stitches around the crown, and the brim is finished with a bound edge. Its Natural colour is simply the colour of the grass, and at 0.063KG it sits very lightly on the head.
