Description

These are three wall hooks cut in the shape of birds, painted in multicoloured shades with fine lines picking out wings, tails and eyes. Each bird is a different character: one flies with its wings raised, while the other two perch side on with long painted tails. Below each body a short round peg stands out from the wall, and that peg is where a little bag, a hat or a scarf hangs. They are made of MDF and iron with a painted finish, and each one is a small piece, 8.5cm long, 10cm wide and 4cm tall, so a row of three fits a short stretch of wall without crowding it.

We see them in a child's bedroom or playroom, where three birds give small belongings a place of their own: a favourite tote, a sun hat, a dressing-up cape.
