Description

This is a small cast iron tray in gold, cast in the shape of a tiger laid out flat, its four legs stretched to the sides and its tail curled into an open loop at one end. Wavy stripes run across the body in raised relief, and a lip follows the whole outline, giving the shallow tray a defined edge. It measures 19.5cm by 9cm and stands 1.5cm tall, a size that sits comfortably in two hands and takes up very little room on a crowded side table or shelf.
