Description

This is a blue stoneware dinner plate, 27cm across and 2cm tall, with a wavy, scalloped rim that gives it far more character than a plain round plate. Raised ribs radiate out from a smooth centre like the petals of a flower, and the solid coloured glaze looks lighter over each ridge, so the ribs catch the light while the well stays an even, soft blue. At 27cm it is a true dinner plate size, with room for a main course and its sides, and at 1.08KG it has a solid, reassuring weight.
