Description

These stoneware cups come as a set of six, each holding 220ml and measuring 8.5cm across and 8.5cm tall. That capacity sits between a small espresso cup and a large mug, which makes them right for a proper cup of tea, a flat white or a filter coffee. The body is fluted all the way round, with narrow vertical ribs running from a gently flared rim down to a narrower foot, and a looped handle on the side. The green glaze pools in the grooves and thins over the ridges, so each cup shows deeper and lighter tones of green, and the rim is edged in a darker line.

With six cups to the set, there is one for everyone at a family breakfast or a weekend table of guests. They suit the kitchen counter for the morning round of tea, the dining table after a meal, and an afternoon tray laid with tea and biscuits.
