Our Larken dinner plate is made of 100% stoneware and finished in a multicoloured glaze that is speckled, streaked and splashed across its face, so the surface rewards a closer look. It measures 27cm across and 2.5cm tall, which is a true dinner plate size: room for a main course and its sides without the food crowding the rim. The outline is round but not perfectly so, with a gently wavy edge and a low, shallow profile that gives it a relaxed, informal look. At 0.784KG it has a solid, satisfying weight in the hand.

This is a plate for everyday dinners and for the table you lay when friends visit. Its size suits pasta, a Sunday roast, a curry or a generous salad, and it works as well as a serving plate for fruit, cheese or bread in the middle of the table.
