This is the largest of the three foundation frames Harte make, the galvanised steel frame that sets in concrete and gives the post something to bolt to. It stands 240mm tall and measures 250mm across.

It belongs on the concrete base under a post or column. It weighs 2.75KG and is set into the concrete before the pour, with the studs left proud for the post to bolt onto. Harte make the frame from 120mm to 240mm; pick the one that matches your post base, not the biggest.

It is made in galvanised steel. Harte make it to order in County Wexford, so allow two to five weeks.
