Our Lane throw is a woven cotton blend laid out in wide block stripes, finished along its edges with a long, loose fringe. It measures 160cm long and 130cm wide, a generous size for the back of a sofa or the foot of a bed, and large enough to wrap round your shoulders on a cool evening. The fabric is a mix led by cotton, at 43%, with acrylic, polyester, viscose, polyamide and a touch of wool. Up close the weave is open and slightly nubbly, so the multicoloured blocks look softly blended rather than sharp, and the fringe carries the colours of the stripes beside it.

It suits a living room where a sofa or armchair needs a little colour and texture, and it is just as at home folded at the end of a bed in a guest room or your own bedroom.
