The Kyra is a 58cm 8-light crystal chandelier built on a satin nickel frame with eight curved arms, each dressed with cascading crystal droplets and terminating in an E14 candle-style fitting. The frame geometry pairs traditional chandelier proportions with a squared tubular structure that gives the fitting a slightly contemporary edge compared to classical round-tube designs. The satin nickel finish sits between polished chrome and brushed steel in tone, providing a low-reflectance surface that allows the cut crystal to catch and refract light without competing with a high-gloss metal frame.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Kyra offers 650-1650mm adjustable drop on installation, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or lower in a two-storey entrance hall. The 580mm diameter suits rooms of 4-6m width without overwhelming the space. The eight E14 fittings provide sufficient light output for ambient illumination when paired with 4-6W LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K), and the chandelier is dimmable when used with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

Each arm supports multiple tiers of faceted crystal droplets that hang from the sconce and along the arm length, creating layers of prismatic light diffusion when the chandelier is lit. The crystal droplets are individually looped onto the frame, so removal for cleaning is straightforward. The 4kg weight requires a ceiling fixing rated for at least 10kg once the chain and bulbs are added, and the chandelier connects to a standard UK ceiling rose via the adjustable chain and cable supplied.

Is the chandelier dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable E14 bulbs and pair the chandelier with a compatible trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer. Not all LED bulbs dim smoothly, so choose bulbs marked as dimmable and check dimmer compatibility before installation.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 650mm minimum drop suits ceiling heights from 2.6m upwards. For a dining table the chandelier typically hangs 700-900mm above the table surface, which works in rooms with 2.6-3m ceiling height. Higher ceilings allow the chain to be extended up to 1650mm total drop.

How is the crystal cleaned?

The crystal droplets can be wiped in situ with a dry microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, individual droplets unloop from the frame and can be washed in warm soapy water, rinsed, dried and re-looped. Do not use abrasive cleaners or soak the metal frame.
