This faceplate requires two GDF002F 4-gang grid frames (sold separately) and up to eight individual grid modules (switches, sockets, data modules) that clip into those frames. The frames then mount behind this outer cover plate on a suitable metalclad back box.

What is the IP rating and where can it be used?

The faceplate carries an IP20 rating, meaning it is protected against solid objects larger than 12.5mm but has no moisture protection. It is suitable for dry indoor environments such as workshops, garages, server rooms and commercial premises, but not for outdoor or damp locations.

Can this plate be used with standard grid modules?

No. This faceplate is designed exclusively for use with Knightsbridge's metalclad grid system components. It will not accept standard plastic grid frames or modules from other ranges.
