Description
The Knightsbridge 12-gang grid faceplate is a modular plate designed to accept euro module inserts for custom socket configurations, finished in matt white with a screwless cover. The 208mm × 148mm faceplate is constructed from premium-grade steel and uses a clip-on screwless cover that hides all fixings once installed, giving a clean finish on the wall.
Designed for media walls, home office setups, smart home installations and commercial environments where multiple connection types need to be grouped in one location, the 12-gang configuration allows up to twelve individual euro modules to be fitted in a 3×4 grid layout. Typical modules include USB charging ports, HDMI, coaxial TV, ethernet data sockets, telephone sockets, and satellite connections — the exact combination is determined by the modules installed. The faceplate itself is the frame; modules are purchased separately.
The matt white finish provides a neutral, low-sheen surface that sits comfortably in both residential and commercial interiors without competing visually with wall colour. The screwless cover clips onto a metal sub-frame fixed to the back box, meaning there are no visible screws on the installed plate. An integrated gasket on the rear edge provides a precise fit against the wall surface and helps prevent the plate from shifting over time. The IP20 rating confirms the plate is suitable for indoor dry locations.
Knightsbridge backs this faceplate with a 25-year guarantee, reflecting the durability of the steel construction and the finish coating. The 10mm depth projection from the wall once fitted is minimal compared to screw-fixed alternatives, keeping the installed profile low and reducing the risk of snagging on passing clothing or furniture.

Frequently Asked
What modules does this faceplate accept?
The faceplate accepts standard euro module inserts in a 3×4 grid configuration, allowing up to twelve individual modules. Common modules include USB sockets, HDMI, coaxial TV, ethernet data, telephone and satellite connections. Modules are purchased separately and clipped into the faceplate grid.
What back box is needed for installation?
A 47mm minimum depth grid back box is required. The back box must have the appropriate knockouts for the cable runs needed for the modules being installed. Knightsbridge produces matching grid back boxes sold separately.
Is the screwless cover removable for redecorating?
Yes. The matt white cover clips onto a metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the plate and re-clipped without disturbing the wiring or modules.
What other finishes are available in this range?
Knightsbridge produces grid faceplates in finishes including polished chrome, brushed chrome, polished brass, matt black and white. Use the search function or filters to find other variants in stock at Niori.
