Description
The Knightsbridge NETBR4GW is a 100 x 50mm brush module that allows cables to pass through a wall plate while concealing the aperture behind soft nylon bristles. The module fits Knightsbridge's euro-module grid system and uses an ABS housing with a white finish to match standard white wall plates.
Designed for AV installations where HDMI, aerial, ethernet and speaker cables need to run from equipment behind a wall-mounted TV to sockets or devices below, the brush module prevents the gap from being visible when cables are routed through. The bristles part to allow cables through, then close around them to hide the wall cavity behind. This is commonly used to achieve a 'floating TV' look where no visible cables run down the wall surface.
The module measures 100mm wide by 50mm high, equivalent to two standard euro-module widths, and clips into a compatible grid frame or face plate (sold separately). The white ABS construction is rated IP20 for indoor use. The nylon bristles are soft enough to avoid damaging cable jackets but dense enough to provide coverage when multiple cables are routed through the same module.
Important: This module must NOT be used alongside power sockets in the same wall channel or face plate due to the risk of accessible live voltage through the brush opening. It is intended solely for low-voltage signal cables (HDMI, coax, ethernet, speaker wire) and should be installed in a separate back box or trunking run from any mains wiring.

Frequently Asked
What cables can pass through this brush module?
The module is designed for low-voltage signal cables only: HDMI, coaxial aerial/satellite cables, ethernet (Cat5e/Cat6), speaker wire, and similar AV cables. It must NOT be used for mains power cables or installed in the same wall channel as power sockets.
Does it fit standard UK back boxes?
This is a euro-module insert that clips into a Knightsbridge grid frame or euro-module compatible face plate, which then fits a standard 25mm or 35mm UK back box. The module itself does not mount directly to a back box without the frame.
How many cables can fit through the brushes?
The 100mm width allows 4-6 typical AV cables (HDMI, coax, ethernet) to pass through comfortably, depending on cable diameter. The nylon bristles part around the cables and close the gaps between them.
Can it be painted?
The ABS housing can be painted if needed to match non-white wall finishes, though paint may stiffen the nylon bristles slightly. Mask the bristles themselves during painting to maintain their flexibility.
