Kinoko Iron Floor Lamp - Brown

Our Kinoko floor lamp is all about its shade: a wide, low dome of brown glass built from rounded sections, with fine seams running between them like the cap of a mushroom, set on a slim iron stem and a round base. The lamp is 70% glass and 30% iron. It stands 157cm tall and is 40cm across, and the shade alone is 17.5cm tall over that same 40cm width, so it reads as a broad, shallow cap rather than a deep drum. Inside are two E27 bulb holders, the common screw fitting, so replacement bulbs are easy to find.

At 157cm tall it is sized to stand beside a sofa, an armchair or a bed, or to bring light to the corner of a living room that a ceiling light leaves dim. The switch is a foot switch on the cord, so you can turn the lamp on and off with a tap of your foot rather than reaching under a shade or behind furniture.
