Description

The price is for one bowl, sold in the carton quantity shown; it comes in two designs, shown together in the photographs, and the design you receive cannot be chosen. Karine is a small, deep stoneware bowl, 10cm across and 6cm tall, holding 250ml. One design carries a close geometric tile pattern around the outside; the other is covered in rows of open, flower-like rosettes. Inside, both are plain cream with a fine speckle, so whatever you serve sits against a calm, simple ground.

At 250ml this is a bowl for small portions rather than a cereal bowl: dips and sauces at the table, olives or nuts with drinks, a scoop of ice cream, a side of rice, or a morning helping of yoghurt and fruit. It is easy to pass round the table at a shared meal, and handy by the hob while you cook, holding chopped herbs, garlic or spices ready for the pan.
