Description

The Juoni is a plant pot and a stand, made as two pieces. The pot is iron in an aged antique brass finish, a plain cylinder 24cm tall and 28cm across with a rolled rim and nothing worked into the surface. The finish runs from warm gold through copper to patches of dull green and grey, and it falls differently on every pot. The pot sits down into a stand of black iron with four straight legs and a criss-cross bar across the base, which brings the whole thing to 35cm.

At 35cm overall the planter lifts a plant off the floor, so the leaves fall clear of it instead of spreading across it, and the stand takes 30 by 30cm of floor. It holds up to 15kg. The pot is a separate piece, 24cm tall and 28cm across on its own. It takes plants that want only a light water or spray unless an inner pot goes inside it, and it is for indoor use only.

The pot and the stand are both iron. The pot carries the aged antique brass finish and the stand is black, so the two parts read as different metals although they are not. Juoni is made in this size and in a large at 45cm tall, whose pot measures 24.5cm high and 36cm across.
