Description

Two cream ceramic mugs, 10cm across and 7cm tall, each holding 370ml. The sides taper in very slightly towards the base. Rows of small dark green drops are brushed over the upper half of each mug, every row offset from the one above, and they stop part way down in a ragged line rather than at a border. The drops carry over the rim and down the inside of the lip. The handle is a plain cream loop, unpainted, set high on the side.

At 370ml this is the larger of the two Juniper Drop mug sizes, a full mug of tea or a long coffee rather than a short one. At 10cm across it is wider than it is tall, so it stands broad on a board or a tray and the drops read from the other side of a table.

The mugs are ceramic and every drop is laid on with a brush, so the rows run at slightly different angles and the green sits darker on some drops than on others. They are dishwasher safe, microwave safe and safe for food. A set holds two. The Juniper Drop painting also runs across bowls, jugs, a teapot, plates and a smaller mug.

Frequently Asked

What is the capacity?

370ml in each mug.

Is it sold as a pair?

Yes. Two mugs come in a set.

Are they microwave and dishwasher safe?

Yes to both, and the ceramic is safe for food.

Why do the two mugs differ from each other?

Each drop is brushed on individually, so the rows sit at slightly different angles and no two mugs match exactly.

How do I look after them?

Give them a wash after each use so they do not stain. Use a mild detergent, do not leave them standing in water, and handle them carefully because ceramic chips.
