Description

The Joshua is a 128cm abstract sculpture cast in brass-tone aluminium, featuring flowing curves that twist around a central ribbon-like loop before rising vertically. The hand-shaped form is finished with a matt texture that catches and diffuses light at different angles, adding tonal variation across the surface. A black aluminium base provides a stable platform and visual anchor for the upward movement of the curves.

Designed for hallways, console table positions, or corner placements in living rooms and studies, the sculpture occupies a 34 x 23cm footprint and stands at eye level for most viewers. The 8kg weight gives the piece stability on carpeted or hard floors without needing additional fixings. The brass-tone finish pairs with warm metallics, dark wood tones and neutral interiors without dominating adjacent furniture.

Each sculpture is hand-cast, so minor surface variations and texture differences between pieces are normal and part of the production method. The aluminium construction keeps the weight manageable while allowing the tall vertical form to remain structurally sound. The matt finish resists fingerprints and requires only occasional dusting with a soft dry cloth.
