Description

This is a round stoneware bowl raised on a short pedestal foot, made for the Christmas table. A border of painted hearts runs around the inside of the rim, a scatter of small dots circles the outside, and at the very centre sits a little round ornament tied with a ribbon bow, so the bowl looks festive even when it is empty. It measures 24cm across and 11.5cm tall, a generous width for a centrepiece without crowding a laid table, and its cream body lets the decoration stand out.
