Our Jatoba mug is a generous 400ml stoneware mug in beige, with a rounded body that sits on a short, flared foot and opens gently at the rim. The surface is flecked all over with fine speckles, which gives it the look of natural clay, and a looped handle curves out from the side. It stands 11cm tall, measures 11cm across and weighs 0.39KG. At 400ml it is a proper big mug rather than a dainty cup: it holds a large tea, a milky coffee or a hot chocolate with room left for a splash of milk.

This is a mug for the long drinks of the day: the first tea of the morning, a coffee at the desk, or something warm to carry to a reading chair in the evening.
