Description

The Isosceles is a triangular mantel clock in polished nickel with a curved glass front, brass fittings and Roman numerals on a white dial. The case measures 14.5cm wide, 8cm deep and 19.5cm tall, with a triangular footprint that sits on three small brass feet. A polished brass handle sits at the apex of the triangle, styled after a traditional carriage clock grip.

Designed for mantelpieces, desks, shelves and bedside tables where its compact footprint suits narrow surfaces, the clock works as a functional timepiece in home offices, living rooms and bedrooms. The curved glass front gives a slightly magnified view of the dial and reduces glare under desk lighting. The polished nickel body reflects ambient light without the high contrast of chrome, making it pair comfortably with both warm and cool-toned interiors.

The clock runs on a single AA battery (sold separately) through a standard quartz movement mechanism accessed via a panel on the rear of the case. The Roman numeral dial uses black printed numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9 positions with simple hash marks between, keeping the face legible at a glance. The brass centre pin holding the hands and the brass fittings at the feet and handle contrast with the cooler nickel body, adding warmth to the overall finish.
