Description

The medium Indigo Drop bowl is 25cm across and 12cm deep, five centimetres narrower and two shallower than the large. The cone is the same and so is the band of indigo drops around the rim, inside and out, each one tapering to a point. At the smaller diameter the drops sit closer together.

Twenty-five centimetres is a bowl that goes round a table rather than staying on it: salad for four, or crisps handed from hand to hand. At 0.72kg it lifts in one hand. It is food safe and dishwasher safe. A larger size is made alongside it.

The clay is white and the paint is water based, thrown and painted by hand in Vietnam, so no two bowls carry the same spacing. A 30cm Indigo Drop serving bowl is made as well, and the range runs to plates, mugs, a teapot and a jug.
