Description

The medium Iba is 25cm across and 12cm deep, five centimetres narrower and two shallower than the large. The cone is the same: straight sides running from a small foot out to a wide rim, white clay throughout, and a band of fine indigo lines painted down from the rim and stopping short of the base.

Twenty-five centimetres is a bowl for four rather than eight, and at 0.81kg it passes round a table where the large one stays put. It is food safe and dishwasher safe.

The clay is white and the painting is done by hand in Vietnam, one line at a time, so the spacing varies from bowl to bowl. A 30cm Iba serving bowl is made as well.
