Description

This pink resin photo frame carries the words 'I love my mummy' across the top in gold-coloured script, with a small gold-coloured heart set just beneath the picture window. It holds a single 6 x 4in photograph in portrait orientation, a standard print size, so a favourite picture of a mum and her little one drops in without any trimming. The colour is a soft, pale dusty pink, gentle enough for a nursery yet grown-up enough for any room. Overall the frame is 20cm tall, 14.5cm wide and 1.5cm deep, a neat size that sits comfortably among other keepsakes without crowding them.

We think it belongs wherever a mum will catch sight of it every day: the nursery, her bedroom, the hallway or the family living room. The printed words make it a thoughtful gift for Mum, chosen on her little one's behalf by a partner, a grandparent or a close friend. Slip in a first cuddle, a sleepy newborn portrait or a recent snap of the two of them together, and the frame turns an everyday photograph into a keepsake she will want to hold on to for years to come. It works as well for a mum of toddlers or older children, who will always be her little ones.

The frame is made from resin, which gives it a smooth, solid body with a rectangular outline and a stepped border around the picture window. The gold-coloured lettering and heart sit softly against the pink, so the message reads clearly without overpowering the photograph. To keep it looking fresh, dust it with a soft dry cloth, or wipe it with a slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away, keeping harsh cleaners off the lettering. For a gift that is ready to hand over, pop the photograph in before you wrap it, so the first thing Mum sees is her own little one looking back.
