Description
This is a single artificial hydrangea stem in green, with one full, rounded flowerhead and two broad leaves on a slim stem marked with small nodes. It is 16cm across and 36cm tall, so you get a generous bloom on a stem short enough for a low vase, a small jug or a jar on a shelf. The florets are layered closely, with softly ruffled petals and fine veining in the leaves, so the head looks full from every side. It weighs only 0.02KG, and its materials are polyethylene, iron and polyester.
Because it is artificial, there is no watering and no wilting, which makes it a good choice for the spots where fresh flowers struggle: a hallway console, a high shelf, a guest bedroom used now and then, or a desk at work. One stem on its own in a slim vase looks quiet and considered on a bedside table or a windowsill. Several together give a dining table or a mantelpiece a fuller display. The green head also works well among taller stems in a mixed arrangement, where it adds body at the neck of the vase and lets showier blooms take the lead.
Before use, trim the stem to the height that suits your vase, then fold the leaves and flowerheads into place, easing the florets outwards until the head looks full and even. Take your time and handle it with care, because the leaves and flowerheads can break if forced. As it never needs water, the vessel can be anything you like, including one that is not watertight, such as a basket, a ceramic pot or an old tin. For styling, cut the stem short so the rounded head rests just over the rim of a wide vase, or leave it long and pair it with taller stems for height. The styling props shown are not included.

Frequently Asked
What is the hydrangea stem made of?
Its materials are polyethylene, iron and polyester, so it is an artificial flower rather than a dried or preserved one, and it never needs water.
How tall is it?
It is 36cm tall and 16cm across, a size that sits comfortably in a low or medium vase, a small jug or a jar on a shelf.
Does it need any preparation before use?
Yes. Before use, trim the stem to the length that suits your vase and fold the leaves and flowerheads into place so the head looks full.
How should I look after it?
Handle it with care, because the leaves and flowerheads can break if forced, and reshape the florets gently whenever they need adjusting.
Is it a single stem or a bunch?
It is a single stem with one full, rounded flowerhead and two leaves, so you can use it alone or group several in a larger arrangement.
