Our Hirono wall art is a tall rectangular canvas, hand-painted with a cluster of ginkgo leaves in gold that rise on slender stems across a soft white ground. The leaves stand proud of the surface, each one ridged along its veins, so the gold picks out the texture and the white keeps the whole piece calm and light. It measures 60cm wide and 120cm tall, and the canvas is 3.7cm deep, which gives it a solid edge that looks finished from the side as well as the front.
