Description

This stoneware bowl is 19cm across and 7.5cm tall, made from 100% stoneware and hand decorated. Inside, a swirl of fine, lighter strokes sweeps out from the centre towards the rim, circling a five-petal flower with a cluster of dots at its heart; from the side, the swirl shows as a band of short marks just inside the rim. The outside is plain brown, and the bowl stands on a short foot. It holds 860ml, which makes it a generous everyday bowl rather than a small dessert dish, and it weighs 0.5KG.

That capacity suits a full portion of pasta, a big salad, a noodle broth or a bowl of porridge with fruit, and on a shared table it works as a serving dish for snacks, olives or roasted vegetables.
